The capacity to convey information, position and demand in a form the counterparty will understand and act upon, spanning the written, oral and negotiating registers. In advisory and project-management practice this is not a soft attribute but a lever that produces outcomes directly: presenting the same technical fact to an investment committee, a credit committee and a public authority through different frames often determines whether a deal closes. In complex, multi-stakeholder projects the real friction is not technical but arises from parties reading the same fact differently; the function of communication is to close that gap in reading and shorten the decision cycle.
