English Definition
The total cash obtained from the sale of an asset, whether before or after deduction of selling costs; net proceeds are the gross amount less commissions, taxes, and transfer charges. In project finance the flow of sale proceeds is often not free; security agreements require that proceeds from the sale of a material asset first be directed to a blocked proceeds account and distributed subject to lenders' consent or a mandatory-prepayment waterfall.

Bir varlığın satışından, satış giderleri düşülmeden ya da düşülerek elde edilen toplam nakit tutarıdır; net hasılat, brüt bedelden komisyon, vergi ve devir masraflarının çıkarılmasıyla bulunur. Proje finansmanında satış hasılatının akışı çoğu zaman serbest değildir; teminat sözleşmeleri, önemli bir varlığın satışından doğan hasılatın öncelikle bloke bir hesaba (proceeds account) yönlendirilmesini ve kredi verenlerin onayı ya da zorunlu erken ödeme sırasına göre dağıtılmasını şart koşar.
