İş dilinde sonuç ayrıca bir karardaki nihai sonucu veya en önemli değerlendirmeyi ifade eder. Alt satırı iyileştirmek yönetimin birincil hedeflerinden biridir.

A company's net income or profit after all expenses, taxes, and costs have been deducted from total revenue. The term derives from the position of net income at the bottom of the income statement. In business parlance, bottom line also refers to the final result or most important consideration in a decision. Improving the bottom line is a primary goal of management.
