Basit bir posta notasyonu gibi görünse de, finansal ve hukuki belgelerde tebligatın kime ve nereye yapılacağı önemsiz bir ayrıntı değildir; kredi ve tedarik sözleşmelerindeki bildirim (notice) hükümleri, bir ihbarın hangi adrese ve hangi aracıya ulaştığında geçerli sayılacağını sıkı biçimde tanımlar. English Definition
An address notation indicating that correspondence or a document is to reach its addressee not directly but through a named intermediary person or institution. It may look like a plain postal convention, yet in financial and legal documents the where and to whom of service is no trivial detail: the notice provisions in credit and supply agreements define strictly at which address and through which intermediary a communication is deemed effective. A wrong or outdated notice address can render disputable the moment a default notice, a drawdown request, or a limitation period takes effect, which is why the parties' notice addresses are set out expressly, and made updatable, in the documentation.
