Satıcının, malı belirtilen varış limanına kadar taşıma ve deniz sigortası masraflarını üstlendiği, ancak hasar riskinin malın yükleme limanında gemiye yüklenmesiyle alıcıya geçtiği, deniz taşımacılığına özgü bir teslim şeklidir (Incoterm). Buradaki kritik ayrım, masraf ile riskin farklı noktalarda el değiştirmesidir; satıcı navlunu ve sigortayı ödese de, taşıma sırasındaki kayıp riski çıkış noktasından itibaren alıcıdadır. Proje inşaatında ithal ekipman tedarikinde bu ayrım, sigorta poliçesinin lehtarı ile hasar anındaki ispat yükünün kimde olduğunu belirlediği için sözleşmede özenle düzenlenir.
English Definition
A maritime delivery term (Incoterm) under which the seller pays the cost, insurance and freight to the named destination port, yet the risk of loss passes to the buyer once the goods are loaded on board at the port of shipment. The decisive feature is that cost and risk divide at different points: the seller funds carriage and insurance while the buyer already bears in-transit loss from origin. In procurement for project construction this split governs who is the policy beneficiary and who carries the burden of proof on a cargo casualty, so it is drafted with care.
