Bir menkul kıymetin, işlem gününün sonunda gerçekleşen son işlem fiyatı ya da kapanış seansında oluşan referans fiyattır; endeks hesabı, teminat değerlemesi ve türev uzlaşmasında temel alınır. Proje ve altyapı finansmanında halka açık sponsorun ya da YieldCo'nun kapanış fiyatı, özsermaye maliyetinin gözlemlenebilir bir vekilidir; hissenin sürekli net aktif değerin (NAV) altında kapanması, sponsorun yeni özsermaye ihraç ederek büyüme finanse etme kapasitesini fiilen kapatır ve projeleri borç ya da varlık satışına iter. Manipülasyona karşı çoğu borsa kapanışı ihaleyle (auction) belirler.
English Definition
The last traded price of a security at the end of a session, or the reference price struck in a closing auction, and the basis for index calculation, collateral valuation, and derivative settlement. In project and infrastructure finance the closing price of a listed sponsor or YieldCo is an observable proxy for the cost of equity; a share that persistently closes below net asset value effectively shuts off the sponsor's ability to fund growth through new equity issuance, pushing projects toward debt or asset sales instead. To resist manipulation, most exchanges now set the close through an auction.
