Malın bir konsinye düzeni içinde sevk edildiği, ancak bedelinin teslim anında tahsil edildiği melez bir ticari yapıdır; konsinyede mülkiyet çoğu zaman satılana dek göndericide kalırken, teslimde ödeme koşulu tahsilatı sevkiyat anına bağlar. English Definition
A hybrid commercial arrangement in which goods are dispatched under a consignment structure but their price is collected at the moment of delivery; whereas in a consignment title often remains with the sender until sale, the cash-on-delivery condition ties collection to the moment of shipment. The critical legal question in this structure is when title passes, because a seller retaining title can reclaim the goods on the buyer's insolvency, whereas that protection loses meaning once payment on delivery has actually occurred. In a project supply chain the distinction determines when equipment enters the lender's security pool, and so is a point that must be resolved explicitly in the security architecture.
