English Definition
The plural whole of fees paid for brokerage, arrangement, and services; though each appears small in isolation, in project financing their sum forms a material slice of financing cost. When arrangement, commitment, agency, security, and prepayment commissions stack in a single transaction, the effective cost rises markedly above the quoted interest margin; an experienced sponsor, in comparing offers, takes the all-in annual cost inclusive of all commissions rather than the margin, because the commission structure is frequently the quiet line where a margin concession is clawed back.
