Proje finansmanında taahhüt oranı, faiz marjıyla birlikte değerlendirilmesi gereken bir maliyet parametresidir; kredi verenler çekilmemiş limitin sermaye maliyetini bu oran üzerinden geri kazanmaya çalışır, dolayısıyla oran tipik olarak faiz marjının belirli bir kesri olarak fiyatlanır. Uzun çekiş dönemli projelerde birkaç baz puanlık taahhüt oranı farkı bile toplam finansman maliyetinde anlamlı bir kaymaya dönüşebilir.
English Definition
The percentage rate applied to the undrawn balance of a facility in computing the commitment commission, usually expressed on an annual basis. In project financing the commitment rate is a cost parameter to be weighed together with the interest margin; lenders seek to recover the capital cost of the undrawn limit through this rate, so it is typically priced as a fraction of the interest margin. In projects with long drawdown periods, even a few basis points of difference in the commitment rate can translate into a meaningful shift in total financing cost.
