Proje finansmanı açısından belirleyici olan ikincisidir: bir projenin tedarik ve fiyat riski, bu bileşen sanayilerinin sağlığına ve coğrafi yoğunlaşmasına doğrudan bağlıdır. English Definition
The term carries two senses: the sub-industries composing a sector index, and, more operationally, the supplier industries producing the parts and inputs for a final product. For project finance the second is decisive: a project's supply and price risk is tied directly to the health and geographic concentration of these component industries. In an energy project, concentration of critical components — modules, inverters or transformers — in a few manufacturers and countries creates a fragility where one bottleneck can lock the whole construction schedule; indeed, lengthening transformer lead times have in recent years become the item effectively setting the commercial operation date of many projects.
