Bir şebekede iletim kapasitesinin talebi karşılayamadığı durumlarda, sıkışan hattı kullanmanın maliyetini yansıtan ücrettir; enerji piyasalarında düğüm bazlı fiyatlandırma (nodal / locational marginal pricing) mekanizmasının doğal sonucudur. Bir üretim varlığının bulunduğu düğümdeki fiyat, iletim kısıtı nedeniyle teslim noktasındaki fiyattan sapabilir ve bu fark projenin gerçekleşen gelirini erozyona uğratır. English Definition
A charge reflecting the cost of using a congested line where transmission capacity on a grid cannot meet demand; in energy markets it is the natural consequence of nodal, or locational marginal, pricing. The price at the node where a generation asset sits can diverge from the price at the delivery point because of a transmission constraint, and that gap erodes the project's realised revenue. The critical observation for the practitioner is that this divergence, appearing as basis risk even for a generator that has signed a fixed-price PPA, can hold debt-service capacity below expectation unless hedged through instruments such as congestion revenue rights.
