Bir sürecin — sermaye dağıtımı, inşa ilerlemesi, çekiş ya da satış hızının — dışsal baskıyla değil, tarafların bilinçli kararıyla ölçülü tutulmasıdır. Proje finansmanında çekiş temposunun kontrol altında tutulması, taşıma maliyetini (negatif carry) yönetmenin doğrudan aracıdır; zira ihtiyaçtan erken çekilen kredi, henüz gelir üretmeyen bir dönemde faiz yükü doğurur. Bu nedenle iyi yapılandırılmış bir çekiş takvimi, harcama eğrisiyle senkronize edilir; sermayenin fazla erken ya da fazla geç gelmesi, ikisi de projenin getirisini aşındıran ayrı hatalardır.
English Definition
Keeping the pace of a process — capital deployment, construction progress, drawdown, or sales — measured by the deliberate choice of the parties rather than by external pressure. In project finance holding the drawdown pace under control is a direct instrument for managing negative carry, since credit drawn earlier than needed incurs an interest burden in a period that generates no revenue yet. A well-structured drawdown schedule is therefore synchronized with the expenditure curve, capital arriving too early or too late being two separate errors that each erode the project's return.
