Satıcının malın bedelini ve taşıma sigortasını üstlendiği ancak navlunu kapsamayan bir teslim ve fiyatlandırma esasıdır; masraf, sigorta ve navlunu birlikte kapsayan CIF esasından tam da bu navlun ayrımıyla farklılaşır. Proje tedarikinde fiyat tekliflerinin hangi masraf temelinde verildiğinin netleştirilmesi, görünürdeki birim fiyat farklarının aslında bir kapsam farkı olabileceği için önemlidir. Teslim esasındaki bir belirsizlik, bütçelenen landed cost ile fiilî maliyet arasında sistematik bir sapma yaratır.
English Definition
A delivery and pricing basis under which the seller bears the cost of the goods and the transport insurance but not the freight, differing from the CIF basis, which bundles cost, insurance and freight, precisely in that treatment of freight. In project procurement, clarifying the cost basis on which quotations are given matters, because apparent differences in unit price may in fact be differences in scope. Ambiguity over the delivery basis produces a systematic gap between the budgeted landed cost and the actual cost.
