Görünüşte basit bir muhasebe ayrıntısı olsa da, proje finansmanında ödeme ve çekiş belgelerinin izlenebilir bir denetim izi (audit trail) oluşturması, kredi verenin harcama doğrulaması ve bağımsız denetimin uzlaştırma çalışması açısından belirleyicidir. Dijital ödeme sistemlerinde koçanın işlevini işlem referans numarası ve elektronik dekont üstlenir; ancak mantık aynıdır — her ödemenin ihraç eden tarafta bir eşleştirme kaydı bırakması.
English Definition
The retained portion of a cheque, receipt, or negotiable instrument that stays with the issuer when the main part is detached and handed over, kept as a record and reconciliation stub. Though apparently a trivial accounting detail, in project finance the fact that payment and drawdown documents form a traceable audit trail is decisive for the lender's expenditure verification and for the reconciliation work of the independent auditor. In digital payment systems the transaction reference and electronic advice assume the counterfoil's function, yet the logic is identical — every payment leaves a matching record on the issuer's side.
