English Definition
"Cashpoint" is the established name for the automated teller machine at which a bank's customers withdraw cash and perform basic banking by card; "cp" is its abbreviation. The counterpart of this retail-banking concept in project financing is not physical but account-based: in large-scale projects cash moves not as physical currency but as account-to-account electronic transfers, and a project's real "cash point" is not a machine but the collection or escrow account into which revenue is gathered. Trivial as the distinction looks, what governs control in a project's cash management is not the accessibility of machines but the regime of pledges and signing authority over the accounts.
