Belirli bir zaman ufku boyunca ortaya çıkan talebin, dönem dönem değil toplanarak ölçülen büyüklüğüdür. Altyapı ve enerji projelerinde bu ölçüt, tesisin ömrü boyunca karşılanması beklenen kümülatif çıktı ya da hizmet hacmini tahmin etmek ve alım taahhüdünün (offtake) yeterliliğini test etmek için kullanılır. Nitekim proje fizibilitesinde tek yıllık talep değil, borç geri ödeme profiliyle örtüşen kümülatif talep eğrisi belirleyicidir; talebin öne mi yoksa vadeye doğru mu ağırlaştığı, DSCR'nin hangi yıllarda kırılgan olacağını gösterir.
English Definition
The magnitude of demand arising over a defined horizon, measured as an aggregate rather than period by period. In infrastructure and energy projects the measure forecasts the cumulative output or service volume the asset is expected to meet and tests the adequacy of offtake commitments. Indeed, project feasibility turns not on single-year demand but on the cumulative demand curve aligned with the debt repayment profile; whether demand loads toward the front or the tail shows in which years the DSCR will be fragile.
