Bir veri kümesinde ardışık kategorilerin paylarının üst üste eklenerek ulaştığı, belirli bir noktaya kadar toplam içindeki oranı gösteren istatistiksel ölçüttür. Proje finansmanı ve portföy analizinde bu araç, kümülatif ilerleme (fiziksel tamamlanma), tahsilat ya da temerrüt dağılımlarını okumakta kullanılır; örneğin bir kredi havuzunda temerrütlerin ilk yıllara mı yoksa vadeye mi yığıldığını kümülatif yüzde eğrisi gösterir. Nitekim bu eğrinin dikleşme noktası, rezerv hesabının hangi dönemde en çok test edileceğini işaret eder.
English Definition
A statistical measure showing the running share of a total reached by successively adding the proportions of consecutive categories up to a given point. In project finance and portfolio analysis it is used to read cumulative progress — physical completion, collections, or default distributions; a cumulative percentage curve, for instance, shows whether defaults in a loan pool cluster in the early years or toward maturity. Indeed, the point at which this curve steepens indicates the period in which the reserve account will be most tested.
