İkisinin ayrıştığı yapılarda, ödeme anında geçerli olacak dönüşüm kuru ve bunu üstlenecek taraf, sözleşmenin para birimi şartında düzenlenir. English Definition
The currency in which a debt is actually discharged, which may not always coincide with the currency in which the debt is denominated (the money of account). Where the two diverge, the conversion rate applying at the moment of payment and the party bearing it are governed by the contract's currency clause. In project financing this distinction is decisive where an offtake contract denominates the price in hard currency but provides for payment in local currency; here, which party holds the exchange-rate risk up to the moment of payment directly affects the project's true revenue security and thus its bankability.
