Sermaye-yoğun projelerde konjonktürel işsizliğin yükseldiği dönemler inşaat işgücü maliyetlerini ve alt yüklenici fiyatlamasını aşağı çekerken, aynı koşullar talep tarafındaki gelir projeksiyonlarını da baskılar. English Definition
Unemployment that emerges in the contractionary phase of the economic cycle as aggregate demand falls, and that recedes as activity recovers, distinguished from structural and frictional unemployment by its root in temporary demand shortfall. Periods of rising cyclical unemployment tend to soften construction labour costs and subcontractor pricing on capital-intensive projects, yet the same conditions depress the revenue projections on the demand side. The two effects rarely coincide in timing, which makes where a project sits within the cycle a material variable.
