Vadeli işlem ya da emtia sözleşmelerinde, bir tarafın sözleşme konusu malın fiziki teslimini alma ya da verme niyetini borsaya veya takas kurumuna bildirdiği beyandır. Türev pozisyonların büyük çoğunluğu vadeden önce nakdi olarak kapatılırken, teslimat beyanı fiziki teslimi seçen azınlığın süreci başlatan adımıdır ve teslim noktası, kalite ile zamanlama kurallarını devreye sokar. Proje finansmanında, özellikle emtia bağlantılı gelir ya da hammadde tedariki korumalı (hedge) yapılarda, teslimat niyetinin fiziki mi nakdi mi olacağı, riskten korunmanın gerçek etkinliğini belirleyen ince ama kritik bir ayrımdır.
English Definition
In futures or commodity contracts, the declaration by which a party notifies the exchange or clearing house of its intention to take or make physical delivery of the underlying. While the great majority of derivative positions are closed for cash before expiry, the delivery declaration is the step that starts the process for the minority electing physical settlement, engaging the rules on delivery point, quality, and timing. In project financing, particularly in commodity-linked revenue or feedstock hedges, whether delivery intent is physical or cash-settled is a fine but critical distinction that determines the true effectiveness of the hedge.
