Proje finansmanında sökme yükümlülüğü, kredi verenlerin projenin ömrünü değerlendirirken hesaba kattığı bir gelecek nakit çıkışıdır; bu nedenle çoğu yapı, sökme fonunu ömür boyunca biriktiren bir rezerv hesabını (decommissioning reserve) zorunlu kılar. English Definition
The process of safely shutting down, dismantling, and environmentally restoring a facility at the end of its economic life — the final and often underestimated stage in the life cycle of energy, mining, and industrial projects. In project financing the decommissioning obligation is a future cash outflow that lenders factor in when assessing project life, which is why most structures mandate a decommissioning reserve that accumulates the fund over the asset's life. In sectors such as offshore wind and nuclear, the present value of decommissioning cost and its counterparty support — parent guarantee, surety bond — is a decisive item separating a project's true net return from its apparent one.
