English Definition
The net income a household or individual retains for saving or consumption after income tax and mandatory social contributions have been deducted. Although not a direct credit metric, it becomes the central variable in demand forecasting wherever revenue risk rests on end-user affordability, as in housing, retail infrastructure or user-pays transport. A real contraction in household disposable income tends to delay the pass-through of tariff increases into collection rates, and that lag is frequently the first friction to surface in a project's operating-phase cash flow.
