Vesaik mukabili tahsilatın, sevk belgelerinin ithalatçıya ancak peşin ödeme yapıldığı anda teslim edildiği türüdür; ithalatçı malı ancak bedeli banka aracılığıyla ödeyerek devralabilir, dolayısıyla vadeli kabul karşılığı yönteme kıyasla ihracatçının tahsilat riski belirgin biçimde düşüktür. Bununla birlikte banka yine ödemeyi garanti etmez, yalnızca belge-para mübadelesine aracılık eder. Sınır ötesi proje tedarikinde bu yöntem, satıcının nakit döngüsünü hızlandırırken alıcıyı ekipmanı görmeden ödeme yapmak zorunda bıraktığı için çoğu zaman ön sevkiyat denetimi (pre-shipment inspection) ve kalite belgeleriyle dengelenir; aksi hâlde alıcı, malın sözleşmeye uygunluğunu ödemeden önce doğrulayamaz.
English Definition
A form of documentary collection in which the shipping documents are released to the importer only upon cash payment; the importer can take the goods only by paying through the bank, so the exporter's collection risk is markedly lower than under acceptance-based terms. The bank nonetheless does not guarantee payment and merely intermediates the exchange of documents for cash. In cross-border project procurement this method accelerates the seller's cash cycle but forces the buyer to pay without seeing the equipment, so it is often balanced with pre-shipment inspection and quality certificates; otherwise the buyer cannot verify the goods' conformity before paying.
