Kendi başına küçük bir kalem gibi görünse de, geniş bant ve fiber altyapı projelerinde toplam maliyetin son metre (last mile) bölümü, hane başına döşeme maliyetinin en değişken ve çoğu zaman en pahalı katmanını oluşturur. English Definition
A telecommunications or cable infrastructure component that runs from a distribution line or network backbone to the end user's premises, connecting the subscriber to the main line. Though a small item on its own, in broadband and fibre infrastructure projects the last-mile portion of total cost forms the most variable and often the most expensive layer of cost per home passed. In capital-intensive telecom infrastructure financing, because a project's ability to repay depends on cost per connection and the subscriber take-up rate, the unit economics of this item are tracked as a separate sensitivity variable in the financial model.
