Muacceliyet ile fiili ödeme arasındaki ayrım kredi belgelerinde önemlidir, zira bir tutarın vadesinin gelmesi (due) ile ödenebilir olması (payable) her zaman aynı anı işaret etmez; ödeme bir ihbara ya da koşula bağlanmış olabilir. English Definition
A term describing that a debt or obligation has reached the point at which it must be paid — that it has fallen due — so that once an amount is due the creditor's right to demand it has arisen. The distinction between falling due and actual payment matters in credit documents, since an amount being due and its being payable need not mark the same moment; payment may depend on a notice or a condition. In project finance the due date of each item in the debt service schedule fixes the ordering of the cash flow waterfall and the starting point of default triggers.
