Bir tahvilin dönemsel faiz ödemesinin (kuponun) hamile ödenmesinin gerektiği belirli tarihtir; ödeme hakkının kime ait olduğu, bu tarih ile kayıt tarihi (record date) arasındaki ilişkiye göre belirlenir. Kupon vade tarihi ile işlem tarihi arasındaki zamanlama, ikincil piyasada işlem gören tahvilin fiyatına birikmiş faizin (accrued interest) eklenip eklenmeyeceğini ve temiz ile kirli fiyat ayrımını doğurur. English Definition
The specific date on which a bond's periodic interest payment — its coupon — must be paid to the holder, with entitlement determined by the relationship between that date and the record date. The timing between the coupon due date and the trade date gives rise to whether accrued interest is added to the price of a bond trading in the secondary market, and to the distinction between clean and dirty price. In project bond issues, matching coupon due dates to the seasonality of the project's cash generation eases debt service pressure, whereas an imperfect match forces the issuer to carry bridge liquidity to meet the coupon day.
