Bir garantinin ya da teminatın yürürlükte kaldığı, garanti verenin yükümlülüğünün doğabileceği sözleşmesel zaman dilimidir; başlangıç ve bitiş tarihleri kadar, hangi olayların bu pencere içinde tetikleyici sayılacağı da titizlikle tanımlanır. Proje finansmanında tamamlama garantisinin (completion guarantee) süresi tipik olarak COD ve performans testlerinin karşılanmasına kadar uzanır, ardından sponsor yükümlülüğü sona erer ve borç geri dönüşsüz (non-recourse) hâle geçer. English Definition
The contractual period during which a guarantee or security remains in force and the guarantor's obligation may arise; the start and end dates, as much as which events count as triggers within that window, are defined with care. In project financing the term of a completion guarantee typically extends until COD and the performance tests are satisfied, after which the sponsor's obligation falls away and the debt becomes non-recourse. The definition of this transition point sits at the heart of the negotiation, since the lender seeks the independent engineer's sign-off while the sponsor wants to release the guarantee as early as possible.
