Bir projenin finansal nakit akislarinin net bugunku degerini sifira esitleyen iskonto orani olup projenin ozel yatirimci perspektifinden beklenen getiri oranini olcer. Ekonomik verim oranindan farkli olarak dissal etkileri haric tutar ve golge fiyatlar yerine piyasa fiyatlarini kullanir. FIVO projenin finansal uygulanabilirligi ve finanse edilebilirligini belirlemek icin agirlikli ortalama sermaye maliyetiyle karsilastirilir.
English Definition
The discount rate at which the net present value of a project's financial cash flows equals zero, measuring the project's expected rate of return from a private investor's perspective. Unlike the economic rate of return, it excludes externalities and uses market prices rather than shadow prices. The FIRR is compared against the weighted average cost of capital to determine financial viability and bankability of the project.
