Bir kredi, tahvil veya diger finansal yukumluluk uzerinde tum vade boyunca veya belirli bir donem icin sabit kalan, borc alana faiz maliyeti ve kredi verene gelir kesinligi saglayan faiz orandir. Sabit faiz oranlari baslangicta gecerli piyasa oranlari, kredi riski ve vadeye gore belirlenir. Proje finansmaninda nakit akis projeksiyonlarindan faiz orani oynaklzigini ortadan kaldirmak ve bankaya uygunlugu artirmak icin insaat ve erken operasyonel donemlerde sabit faiz oranlari genellikle tercih edilir.
English Definition
An interest rate on a loan, bond, or other financial obligation that remains constant for the entire term or a specified period, providing certainty of interest cost to the borrower and income to the lender. Fixed interest rates are determined at origination based on prevailing market rates, credit risk, and tenor. In project finance, fixed interest rates are often preferred during construction and early operational periods to eliminate interest rate volatility from cash flow projections and enhance bankability.
