Borc alanin sabit faizli bir krediyi planlanan vadesinden once geri odemesi veya sabit faiz donemini sona erdirmesi durumunda uygulanan kiris veya on odeme maliyetidir. Bu ucret, kredi vereni fonlari potansiyel olarak daha dusuk mevcut piyasa oranlarinda yeniden konuslandirmaktan kaynaklanan ekonomik kayip icin tazmin eder. English Definition
A breakage or prepayment cost imposed when a borrower repays a fixed rate loan or terminates a fixed rate interest period before its scheduled maturity. The charge compensates the lender for the economic loss arising from redeploying the funds at potentially lower prevailing market rates. Unwinding charges are calculated based on the differential between the contracted fixed rate and current market rates applied over the remaining term, and are a standard provision in project finance loan documentation.
