English Definition
A trade term extending the standard FOB obligation to require the seller not only to load goods on board the vessel but also to properly stow them in the ship's hold at the seller's expense. This allocation of stowage costs and responsibility prevents disputes about damage caused during the stowing process. FOB Stowed is commonly used in bulk commodity trades where proper stowage is critical for cargo safety.
