Bir belgenin, alıcıdan herhangi bir eylem ya da yanıt beklenmeksizin yalnızca haberdar etme amacıyla iletildiğini belirten yönlendirme ibaresidir; "dikkatinize" ibaresinin aksine inceleme ya da onay yükümlülüğü doğurmaz. Bu görünürde masum ayrım, sorumluluğun kimde olduğunu belirler. Proje finansmanında bir riskin ya da gelişmenin ilgili tarafa yalnızca "bilginize" olarak iletilmesi, gönderen açısından bildirim yükümlülüğünün yerine getirilmiş sayılmasına yeterken alıcı açısından bir eylem tetiklemeyeceğinden, sonradan doğan zararlarda "bildirildi ama harekete geçilmedi" tartışmasının ekseni tam da bu ibarenin taşıdığı beklenti düzeyi olur.
English Definition
A routing marking indicating that a document is passed on only to make the recipient aware, without expecting any action or reply, and — unlike a "for your attention" notation — creating no obligation to review or approve. This apparently innocuous distinction settles where responsibility lies. In project finance conveying a risk or development to a party as merely "for your information" may suffice, from the sender's side, to discharge a notification obligation while triggering no action on the recipient's side, so that when losses later arise the "it was notified but not acted upon" dispute turns precisely on the level of expectation this marking carries.
