Rehin verenin karariastirilan sure icinde temel yukumlulugini geri odeyememesi nedeniyle rehin alana teslim edilen veya rehin alan tarafindan el konulan rehne koyulmus varliktir. Musadere edildikten sonra rehin alan odenmemis borcu karsilamak icin varligi satabilir. Rehinlerin musaderesi rehin sozlesmesinin hukumleri ve yururlukteki ticaret veya medeni hukuk duzenlemeleri tarafindan yonetilir.
English Definition
A pledged asset that has been surrendered or seized by the pledgee due to the pledgor's failure to repay the underlying obligation within the agreed period. Once forfeited, the pledgee may sell the asset to recover the outstanding debt. The forfeiture of pledges is governed by the terms of the pledge agreement and applicable commercial or civil law provisions.
