Tam konvertibilite, bir ülkenin para biriminin tutar, amaç veya zamanlama konusunda herhangi bir hükümet kısıtlaması olmaksızın başka herhangi bir para birimiyle serbestçe değiştirilebildiği parasal rejimi ifade eder. Hem cari hesap konvertibilitesini (mal ve hizmet ticareti için) hem de sermaye hesabı konvertibilitesini (yatırım ve finansal akışlar için) kapsar. Full convertibility refers to a monetary regime in which a country's currency can be freely exchanged for any other currency without any government-imposed restrictions on the amount, purpose, or timing of the transaction. It encompasses both current account convertibility (for trade in goods and services) and capital account convertibility (for investment and financial flows). Full convertibility is a hallmark of open, liberalised economies and facilitates foreign investment and international trade integration.
