Kullandırılmış kredi, kredi verenin kredi tutarlarını borçluya fiilen ödediği bir kredi tesisidir; henüz kullanılmamış yedek akreditif veya rotatif tesis gibi fonlanmamış taahhütlerden farklıdır. Fonlanmış ve fonlanmamış riskler arasındaki ayrım, düzenleme sermayesi hesaplamaları, karşılık gereksinimleri ve Basel sermaye yeterliliği çerçeveleri kapsamındaki risk ağırlıklı varlık hesaplamaları açısından önemlidir.
English Definition
A funded loan is a credit facility in which the lender has actually disbursed the loan proceeds to the borrower, as opposed to an unfunded commitment such as a standby letter of credit or revolving facility that has not yet been drawn. The distinction between funded and unfunded exposures is important for regulatory capital calculations, provisioning requirements, and risk-weighted asset computations under Basel capital adequacy frameworks.
