Gelecekteki borç, bir kuruluşun planlanmış tahvil ihraçları, taahhütlü tesislerden kullanımlar veya gerçekleşebilecek koşula bağlı yükümlülükler yoluyla ileride üstlenmesi beklenen borçlanma yükümlülüklerini ifade eder. Proje finansmanında gelecekteki borç projeksiyonları, projenin ekonomik ömrü boyunca öngörülen tüm yükümlülüklerini karşılama kapasitesini değerlendirmek amacıyla finansal modellere dahil edilir. Mevcut kredi anlaşmalarındaki taahhütler, mevcut alacaklıların çıkarlarını korumak için gelecekteki borç üstlenimini kısıtlayabilir.
English Definition
Future debt refers to borrowing obligations that an entity is expected to incur at a later date, whether through planned bond issuances, drawdowns under committed facilities, or contingent liabilities that may crystallise. In project finance, future debt projections are incorporated into financial models to assess the project's ability to service all anticipated obligations over its economic life. Covenants in existing loan agreements may restrict the incurrence of future debt to protect existing creditors' interests.
