Gelecekteki ekonomik fayda, bir varlığın bir kuruluş için gelecekteki nakit akışlarının veya diğer ekonomik avantajların üretilmesine doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak katkıda bulunma potansiyelidir. Uluslararası finansal raporlama standartları uyarınca gelecekteki ekonomik fayda beklentisi, bir varlığın bilançoda muhasebeleştirilmesinin ön koşuludur. Bu fayda; gelir üretimi, maliyet azaltma, üretken kapasitenin artırılması veya yükümlülüklerin kapatılması biçiminde olabilir.
English Definition
Future economic benefit is the potential for an asset to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the generation of future cash flows or other economic advantages for an entity. Under international financial reporting standards, the expectation of future economic benefit is a prerequisite for the recognition of an asset on the balance sheet. This benefit may take the form of revenue generation, cost reduction, enhanced productive capacity, or settlement of liabilities.
