Proje sahibiyle yapılan sözleşme kapsamında inşaat projesinin yürütülmesi ve tamamlanmasından genel sorumluluk üstlenen, tüm alt yüklenicileri ve tedarikçileri koordine eden başlıca inşaat firması. Takvim, bütçe, kalite ve iş sağlığı güvenliği uyumundan birincil olarak sorumludur. EPC ve anahtar teslim proje yapılarında mühendislik ve tedarik görevlerini de üstlenir.
English Definition
The principal construction firm that assumes overall responsibility for the execution and completion of a construction project under a contract with the project owner, including coordination of all subcontractors and suppliers. The general contractor bears primary liability for schedule, budget, quality, and health and safety compliance on the project site. In EPC and turnkey project structures, the general contractor's role expands to encompass engineering and procurement alongside construction management.
