Çek tabanlı ödemenin aşinalığı ile giro transfer verimliliğini birleştirir; modern bankacılıkta büyük ölçüde elektronik sistemlerin yerini almıştır.
English Definition
A payment instrument issued within a giro system that functions similarly to a conventional cheque but operates through the giro clearing mechanism rather than the traditional cheque clearing house. The giro cheque instructs the issuing bank to debit the payer's account and credit the payee's account through the giro network. It combines the familiarity of cheque-based payment with the efficiency of giro credit transfer processing, and has been largely superseded by electronic fund transfer systems in modern banking.
