English Definition
An instrument granting an agent the widest possible scope of authority to act on behalf of the principal in all matters across multiple jurisdictions, encompassing financial, legal, commercial, and administrative affairs without geographic or subject-matter limitation. Global powers of attorney are frequently used by multinational corporations and international project companies to authorise regional representatives to execute documents, manage assets, and conduct business in countries where the principal is not physically present. Apostille or consular legalisation may be required for cross-border enforcement.
