Belirli bir sektör, bölge veya ekonomik birim tarafından tanımlanmış bir dönemde sabit sermaye tüketimi düşülmeden önce üretilen mal ve hizmetlerin toplam değeridir. Brüt ürün eyalet brüt ürünü, bölgesel brüt ürün veya belirli bir endüstrinin çıktısına atıfta bulunabilir ve tüm bağlı işletmelerdeki katma değerlerin toplanmasıyla hesaplanır. Gayı safi yurt içi hasılanın alt-ulusal veya sektörel karşılığı olarak işlev görür ve ayrıştırılmış düzeylerde ekonomik performansın kıyaslanmasında kullanılır.

The total value of goods and services produced by a specific sector, region, or economic unit during a defined period, measured before deducting the consumption of fixed capital. Gross product can refer to gross state product, gross regional product, or the output of a particular industry, and is calculated by summing value added across all constituent enterprises. It serves as a sub-national or sectoral analogue to gross domestic product and is used for benchmarking economic performance at disaggregated levels.
