Acik bir butce harcamasi olarak gorunmeden belirli sektorlere, isletmelere veya endutrilere fayda saglayan dolayli veya seffaf olmayan bir devlet destegi bicimidir. Gizli subvansiyonlar devlet kredilerindeki piyasa altindaki faiz oranlari, vergi muafiyetleri veya ayricalikli duzenleyici muamele seklinde olabilir. Uluslararasi ticarette gizli subvansiyonlar rekabeti bozabilir ve telafi edici vergi sorusturmalarina konu olabilir.
English Definition
An indirect or non-transparent form of government support that benefits specific industries, enterprises, or sectors without appearing as an explicit budgetary expenditure. Hidden subsidies may take the form of below-market interest rates on government loans, tax exemptions, or preferential regulatory treatment. In international trade, hidden subsidies can distort competition and may be subject to countervailing duty investigations.
