Holding sirketleri, cesitlendirilmis is gruplari icin bir yonetisim cercevesi saglar ve vergi verimliligi, sorumluluk korumasi ile merkezilesmis sermaye tahsisi sunabilir. Proje finansmaninda proje riskini sponsorun diger faaliyetlerinden izole etmek icin siklikla ozel amacli holding sirketleri kurulur.
English Definition
A parent corporation whose primary purpose is to own and control subsidiary companies through majority equity stakes, rather than producing goods or services directly. Holding companies provide a governance framework for diversified business groups and may offer tax efficiency, liability protection, and centralised capital allocation. In project finance, special purpose holding companies are frequently established to isolate project risk from the sponsor's other operations.
