Senedi odemek, muhatabin arac kapsamindaki yukumlulugunu yerine getirir ve onceki taraflarin sorumlulugunu ortadan kaldirir. Senedi odememek odenmeme teskil eder ve hamilin cirantalara ve kesedesiye karsi rucu hakkini kullanma hakkini tetikler.
English Definition
To accept or pay a bill of exchange, draft, or similar negotiable instrument when it is presented for acceptance or payment at maturity. Honouring a bill fulfils the drawee's obligation under the instrument and discharges the liability of prior parties. Failure to honour a bill constitutes dishonour and triggers the right of the holder to pursue recourse against endorsers and the drawer.
