Konut amacsli gayrimenkulun satin alinmasi, insasi, yenilenmesi veya iyilestirilmesi icin ozel olarak tasarlanmis bir kredi tesisidir. Konut kredileri finanse edilen gayrimenkul uzerindeki ipotek veya rehinle teminat altina alinir ve genellikle uzun geri odeme vadeleri icerir. Bircok ulkede hukumet programlari, ozellikle ilk kez ev alacaklar ve dusuk gelirli haneler icin ev sahipligini tesvik etmek amaciyla subvansiyonlu konut kredileri saglamaktadir.
