İçe yönelik ticaret, bir ülkenin dış dünyadan mal ve hizmet ithal ettiği ticaret akımını; yani ihracatın karşıtı olan gelen ticareti ifade eder. Ödemeler dengesinin cari işlemler hesabında ithalat kalemi olarak yer alır ve döviz talebinin ana kaynaklarından biridir. Sermaye-yoğun projelerde ithal ekipman ağırlığı bu akımı belirgin biçimde şişirir; finansör açısından kritik olan, ithalat kaynaklı döviz talebinin proje gelirlerinin para birimiyle uyumsuzluk (currency mismatch) yaratıp yaratmadığı ve bunun hedge maliyetine nasıl yansıdığıdır.
English Definition
Inward trade denotes the flow by which a country imports goods and services from abroad, the incoming counterpart to exports. It registers as the import line in the current account of the balance of payments and is a principal source of foreign-currency demand. In capital-intensive projects the weight of imported equipment inflates this flow markedly; what matters for the lender is whether the import-driven currency demand creates a mismatch against the currency of project revenues and how that feeds through into the cost of hedging.
