İhraç edilmiş hisse senedi, bir şirketin yetkilendirilmiş sermayesi içinden çıkarıp yatırımcılara dağıttığı hisselerdir; şirketin elinde tuttuğu geri alınmış paylar (treasury stock) düşüldüğünde tedavüldeki hisse (outstanding stock) sayısına ulaşılır. Bu kavram, hisse başına metriklerin ve oy hakkı dağılımının paydasını belirler. Proje finansmanında proje şirketinin ihraç edilmiş hisselerinin mülkiyeti çoğu zaman kredi verenlere rehnedilir; bu hisse rehni (share pledge), temerrüt hâlinde finansörün proje şirketinin kontrolünü doğrudan ele geçirmesini sağlayan ve varlık teminatını tamamlayan asıl kaldıraçtır.
English Definition
Issued stock is the shares a company has put out from its authorized capital and distributed to investors; subtracting any repurchased shares held as treasury stock yields the number of shares outstanding. This concept sets the denominator for per-share metrics and the distribution of voting rights. In project finance the ownership of the project company's issued stock is often pledged to lenders; this share pledge is the key lever letting a lender seize control of the project company directly in a default, and it complements the asset security.
