English Definition
An itemised invoice is a detailed invoice showing each good and service supplied on a separate line, together with its unit price, quantity, and amount, laying out the components of the total plainly. This format is preferred for both tax audit and contractual verification. In project finance the itemised invoices from an EPC contractor are the raw data for cost-overrun analysis and change-order tracking; early detection of deviations across items sits at the center of the lender's construction-phase risk monitoring, since it reveals how much of the project's budget contingency has been consumed.
