Iki ya da daha fazla kisinin ortak sahip oldugu ve tipik olarak hepsinin uzerinde tasarruf yetkisi bulundugu banka ya da menkul kiymet hesabidir; imza yetkisinin munferit mi yoksa birlikte mi kullanilacagi hesap sozlesmesiyle belirlenir. Bir hesap sahibinin olumunde kalan bakiyenin diger sahibe gecmesini saglayan hayatta kalanin hakki (survivorship) sikca eslik eder. Proje finansmaninda ilgili yapi, kredi verenle borclunun ortak kontrol altinda tuttugu proje hesaplaridir; cekislerin ve dagitimlarin cift imzaya baglanmasi, nakit akisinin sozlesmede tanimlanan selale (waterfall) sirasi disina cikmasini onleyen temel kontrol mekanizmasini olusturur.
English Definition
A bank or securities account jointly owned by two or more persons, typically all with power to operate it, where the account agreement sets whether signing authority is exercised singly or jointly. It is often accompanied by a right of survivorship, under which the remaining balance passes to the surviving holder on one holder's death. In project financing the analogous structure is the project accounts held under joint control by lender and borrower: binding drawdowns and distributions to dual signature forms the core control that prevents cash from moving outside the payment waterfall defined in the agreement.
