Proje finansmanında ikinci anlam sıklıkla belirleyicidir; bir yargı bölgesi, projenin tabi olacağı vergi rejimini, izin sürecini, kambiyo kısıtlarını ve teminatın icra edilebilirliğini tayin eden yapısal çerçevedir. English Definition
The term carries two close but distinct senses: a court's authority to decide, and the geographic or administrative area in which a given legal order applies. In project finance the second sense is frequently decisive; a jurisdiction is the structural frame that determines the tax regime, permitting process, currency-control restrictions and enforceability of security to which a project will be subject. That the same technical project can carry an entirely different risk-and-return profile in two jurisdictions arises precisely from these jurisdictional quirks.
